As the summer break comes to an end so too does the 2007 field work for Ben Ford’s Lake Ontario Maritime Cultural Landscape Project. Ben’s most recent post discusses how they conducted 145 dives totaling more than 80 hours of water time. These dives were split between two activities: shoreline swimming surveys and target inspections. He also mentions some of the preliminary findings. In addition Ben was interviewed on a blog talk radio show. You can find links to both the journal entry, dated 28 August, and the interview in the journal’s navigation menu on the left.

Keeping the MUA up-to-date eats up a lot of our free time but we feel it’s important to stay on top of (or at least not fall further behind) some of the latest trends in new media.
