 COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

 Historic Fort Stockton, a restored 19th century Indian Wars fort, is
offering a six month, full time undergraduate or graduate internship in
collections management.  Museum houses a small collection of military and
related civilian artifacts.  While primary concentration will be on
collections, intern will be exposed to all facets of museum operations.
 Available Fall 1997--start date contingent upon academic
requirements--offers minimum wage.  Please send cover letter, resume and two
letters of recommendation to Director, Historic Fort Stockton, 300 E. Third
St., Fort Stockton, TX  79735. Application must be postmarked by July 1,
