1)--Make sure your seating isn't so artistic as to be dangerous.  We had
some benches that came very close to castrating the governor at a
reception. . . .  (They were sent back to the artist for modifications!)

2)--Be careful about seating in passageways--it can be inconvenient for
people trying to negotiate the passage.

3)--Highly recommended!  Before we added the benches, lack of seating was
one of our most frequent complaints.
