When you said "money" and "sub theme" the first thing I thought
of was "money is the root of all evil."

Why not explore this old chestnut as a recurring question throughout
the exhibit? Each of the topics you already have refer to the value of
money in some way, but what might be of interest to people is a
concomitant exploration of the value judgments we make about money.
It would certainly give the exhibit a relevancy and a POV, and could offer
ways to get certain "touchy" points across safely, even engagingly...
