Dear Ms. Norris,

The McFaddin-Ward House's period of interpretation is 1906-1950 (when the
house was built to a natural cut-off date that includes updated interior
changes made in the 1940s). The museum changes its theme annually and will
highlight a particular aspect of the home's history during that timespan.
Currently, we are looking at the 1910s, but next year's theme is "Paving the
Way for the Modern World," which will focus on developing industry and
changes to lifestyle post World War I.

The recent third floor restoration's period of interpretation is ca. 1912
when Mamie McFaddin Ward's brothers moved up to bedrooms on that floor until
the mid 1920s when they married and established their own residences.

For a pending project,  I'm seeking information about any historic  
house museums that use the 1920s-1930s as the dates for their  
interpretive framework.   The house could either be built in that  
time period, or be from an earlier time period and interpreted to  
that date.
