Museums Advocacy Day 2014 (http://bit.ly/15PcC3o), Feb. 24-25 in Washington, D.C., is the prime opportunity for museums to make their case on Capitol Hill and your participation will provide an invaluable service to both your museum and your museum colleagues nationwide.

Register Now: http://bit.ly/1huGoMu

Museums Advocacy Day brings the museum field together to share a powerful message with members of Congress and their staff about policy issues affecting museums, and the ways your museum impacts your community. After a day of intense advocacy and issue briefings, you will join colleagues to meet with members of Congress and their staffs (Congressional meetings scheduled by AAM). This is our best opportunity to highlight the role of museums of all sizes and disciplines in education, convey their economic impact and advocate for federal funding.

Constituents are the best advocates. In fact, recent polling from the Congressional Management Foundation confirms that constituent visits still have more impact on legislators that any other influence group or strategy. It's up to every museum supporter to make their case to Congress and tell their story.

Alliance members register for FREE! Members of the 2014 Co-Convenor and Leader organizations (AASLH, ACM, APGA, ASMD, AZA and WMA) also register for free.

There are only 8 days until registration closes on Jan. 24. Be sure to register today.

Museums Advocacy Day participants can also reserve a hotel room for $199 per night at the Melrose Georgetown. Book now before the room block is filled!

And be sure to check out the Museums Advocacy Day Publicity Toolkit (http://bit.ly/1huGRyq), designed to help you maximize the impact of your participation in Museums Advocacy Day 2014 (whether you are joining us in Washington, D.C. or advocating from home).

We look forward to seeing you in Washington this February.
