There website says education, so this could be a

The Candle Foundation

For our next funding cycle, The Candle Foundation will
begin accepting proposals Jan. 16, 2002. The deadline
for receipt of applications for the 2002 cycle is May
15, 2002.

The Candle Foundation supports grants for community
investment, education and information dissemination,
hunger and homelessness, preventive healthcare and
medical research. The foundation comprises a
three-member board of directors, a manager and
volunteers -- all full-time Candle Corporation
employees.The foundation receives support from Candle,
Candle employees, as well as from other individuals,
organizations and outside corporations through private
donations.The Candle Foundation

Summary:

The Candle Foundation supports grants for community
investment, education and information dissemination,
hunger and homelessness, preventive healthcare and
medical research. The Foundation comprises a
three-member board of directors, a manager and
volunteers, all of whom hold full-time positions at
Candle Corporation. The foundation solicits for
proposals then works with volunteer committees to
collectively formulate funding
recommendations.

The board of directors approves funding for eligible
organizations annually. Grants ranging from $1,000 to
$10,000 are awarded in five categories: Community
investment; Education and information dissemination;
Hunger and homelessness; Medical research; Preventive
health services. The Candle Foundation supports
grant-seekers throughout North America with preference
given to areas in which there are Candle offices.
