Head Preparator. The Dallas Museum of Art is seeking an energetic,
self-motivated, hands-on individual. Among other duties, this position is
responsible for planning of art movement, packing/unpacking, exhibition
installation/deinstallation with a very active schedule.  Also responsible
for training, supervision of lighting, multiple AV works of art, coordination
with registrars, curators, artists, lenders, etc.  Strong communication and
organizational skills.  Second language a plus.  Bachelors degree in fine
arts, art history, museum studies or equivalent experience.  Minimum three
years experience in museum with similar duties.  Send letter of interest and

Collections Assistant. The Dallas Museum of Art is looking for a
self-motivated, highly organized individual to work on multiple projects
simultaneously. Among other duties, responsible for coordination of
departmental archives, and liaison for Photography Department. Must be
familiar with computerized collections management system to complete
information from archives. Good knowledge of computer and database
management.  Ability to work with artists, lenders, vendors, etc.  Good
communication and organizational skills.  Second language a plus.  Bachelors
degree in fine art, art history, museum studies or equivalent experience. One
