I am sending out this query in order to find out if people actually use
this journal, and if it is important to professionals.
The Council for Museum Anthropology publishes a journal called, MUSEUM
ANTHROPOLOGY. We received it as part of a membership for $15 a year at the
Hayden Library at ASU. I have now been informed that as of 1991, neither the
membership nor the journal was available to institutions, and thus our
subscription lapsed.
Acquisitions tells me that we can resubscribe as of 1995, if we pay the
higher subscription fee of $45 a year. Is it worth it? Does anyone out there
read this journal? Or should I save the money and use it for perhaps a more
important journal? Our school does have a museum studies program.
