European Union Telematics Programme - Area 1 (Administrations).
 
International multimedia museums database network is now a specified item
in this programme.  There is approx  38m pounds available (not just for
museums!).  The programme gives 50% funding for research and technology
development and demonstration programmes.  Call for proposals likely on
15th December.  DTI briefing on 13th October at Conference Forum, Sedgwick
Centre, Colchester Street, Aldgate East, London, starting at 10 am.  Places
apparently limited - I have requested one.  Would be glad to hear from other
interested parties.
