Try the Montshire Museum of Science in Vermont. I know they have stuff
on light and they are aimed at kids. You might be able to get some ideas
for classroom use. 

You might also check and see if the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia
has anything that would help you.

Hello,

I am in the process of designing an in-school, hands-on, science
curriculum for 2nd graders on the topic of light.  The concept can be
fairly broad and touch on relevant topics - such as reflections,
kaleidoscopes, shadows, sundials, refraction, prisms, color, etc.  Some
of the kids may have enrolled in some of our other classes that also
discussed light.  Therefor,  to try to make sure there is not too much
repetition, I need new and exciting ways to approach the topic of light.

I welcome thoughts, input, and resources.
