We have two mascots Murray and Etta the Museum Mice. They host all of
our toddler tours. The next toddler tour is Etta's Favorite Colors.
When we decided to have mascots, we held a public contest for artists
to create their version of the Mascots. Originally we were debating
between Murray and Etta or Colonel Cobb. The artists all knew that
we, the Museum, would own the copyright to the winning interpretation.
We decided the winner and now Murray and Etta are on stickers,
magnets, keychains, and hopefully soon we will have activity/coloring
books and stuffed animals. Also we made an agreement with the artist
that if we asked she would make special Murray and Ettas to fit with
exhibits, events and advertising.

Sorry if this a bit long. If you have anyother questions, feel free
to email me off the list.

Sincerely,

Christa McCay, M.H.P.
