The National Conference of State Museum Associations recently launched
its web site SMAnet, located at:

http://www.io.com/~tam/smanet

Developed by the Texas Association of Museums, in conjunction with the
Western Museums Association, this web site offers a calendar of
museum-related organizations’ workshops and meetings, a roster of state
museum associations personnel listed by last name and by state, state
museum association profiles, publications information, and much more.

This site is still under development,  and TAM will be adding new
information as it is received.  It will also be updated on a regular
basis.  The site was funded through a grant by the Institute of Museum
and Library Services.
