Ron,

We provide interactive electronics for use in museums. This includes
digital audio repeaters. Please contact me directly and we can discuss your
needs. Depending on your actual requirements we should be able to cut the
amount in half.

These systems are intended for use in exhibits and require very little
maintenance. While CD players can be an appropriate solution when you have
very little or no budget, the low cost is offset by maintenance
considerations when you have many in use.

PDFs for a couple of our FlashAudio Digital Audio Repeaters:

In addition to speakers we have various audio handsets.
Antique type handsets:

Telephone type handsets:

Give me a call and we can discuss your needs and we if we can be of
assistance.

Subject: Sound for exhibits

> Greetings, museum folks:
>
> We are planning 20 brief recordings for various exhibits in our museum.
> The plan includes a digital recorder, speaker, and push-button to
> activate the sound for each display. The quote that we have is about
> $1,000 per systen -- $20,000 total. Seems too much to me. Any other
> suggestions? What is working in your museum and at what cost?
