I've just received an inquiry from someone who works for one of our
Province's Community Health Centres and since it has to do with the types of
interactives that museums often use, I thought I would turn to the list for
help.

She is looking for something she called a buzzer-board that she describes as
a desktop interactive unit that can be programmed with a series of true and
false statements. Participants would push the "True or False" button
depending on what they believed was the correct response to the statement
and a voice (apparently from a sound card) would indicate if it was the
right answer. She used the example of Bart Simpson's voice saying
"excellent!" but apparently different sound cards could be purchased that
had other types of sound responses. The units were very flexible, since the
content of the true/false questions could be customized on a regular basis.
She wants to be able to change things every two/three weeks to promote
Heart/lung/mental health awareness week, etc. There was a supplier of this
type of interactive (priced between $500-$1000) in Red Deer, Alberta but
they are no longer doing this.

Does anyone out there know of supplier of a unit like this? Any help would
be appreciated.
