Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History—The University of
Oklahoma’s newly opened comprehensive museum of natural and cultural
history seeks a qualified professional to serve as Curatorial Specialist
in Ethnology.  This staff position will assist the Curator of Ethnology
in the management of the museum’s outstanding ethnology and traditional
art collections.  Qualifications are a Master’s Degree in anthropology,
folklore, conservation, or related field and 24 months of collections
related experience or a Bachelors Degree and 48 months of collections
experience.  Position starts fall 2000, salary is $25,000 (plus full
fringe benefits), and applications will be considered until position is
filled. Hiring contingent upon background check.  Applicants should
