General rule of thumb:  to subscribe to a listserv, take the address that
is behind the @ symbol and send to [log in to unmask] and include in
your message subscribe listservename yourfirstname yourlastname.  To get
off the listserv, send a message to the same address with signoff
listservename.

For Museum-L, this process would be:

mail to:  [log in to unmask]
subject:
message:  subscribe museum-l yourfirstname yourlastname
