Subject: Elevator Issue

You may want to investigate alternative access, that is videos of the
inaccessible exhibit, or scrapbooks with pictures of it, and so forth.  You
didn't say what jurisdiction you are in, but sometimes different means of
access are acceptable alternatives.  This is particularly true when dealing
with historic buildings where elevator installation may destroy historical
integrity.
