I would suggest that, to begin with, you contact your local police for the
laws regarding transport of firearms. I would also suggest that you always
have 2 staff travelling with the firearms, that your security personnel be
advised of departure time & ETA and that only the Museum vehicles are used.
The guns should not be visible in the vehicle, i.e you should carry them in
the boot (that's a "trunk" for all you Yankies) and in a non-descript carry
case that is preferably secured to the vehicle.

Firearms can be dangerous, threatening  objects, whether or not they are
capable of firing - just ask any victim of an armed holdup!
