Dear Kyle,
Apply for one where your best strengths are. Let the organization bump
you to the other if they so choose (IMHO) A true story: a friend of mine
applied to do paste-up for Lenox Corporation. You know this had to be at
least 20 years ago. He took along his portfolio of art work. Did he get
the position? Not as a graphic designer--he got the position of
"designer" of its world-famous china and was part of an elite
international design group of five.

For everyone seeking a position--remember, it's persistence, persistence
and more persistence. It has to pay off eventually and it does!
