**  Getty museum to return Aphrodite to Italy
Under a bilateral agreement that resolves most aspects of the long-running 
dispute, the museum will "transfer to Italy 40 objects, including the 
Aphrodite," formally called the Cult Statue of a Goddess, in 2010

A heritage trust is selling shares in a 600-year-old Powys farm to try to 
raise the £200,000 needed to restore and convert it into a medieval museum

include a brass telescope said to have been used by Admiral Lord Nelson on

Chinese archaeologists have found textiles in a mysterious tomb dating back 
nearly 2,500 years in eastern Jiangxi Province, the oldest to be discovered 
in China's history

**  Japanese, U.S. WWII veterans visit kamikaze museum together
In a press conference at the Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots, the 
two U.S. veterans expressed their appreciation for the visit as a historic 
trip in which they had discovered that kamikaze pilots were not insane 
people, as they had previously thought, but human beings with emotions

**  New York ship museum could be used as post-attack command centre
A legendary World War II ship will return as a floating military museum in 
New York City next year, but it is also available as an emergency operations 
centre in the event of another terrorist attack

**  Still 'sharp' sword used to protect Henry VIII on display for first time
The one-metre weapon, made of iron with steel cutting edges and a basket 
hilt, was among thousands of artefacts retrieved 25 years ago from the 
wreckage of the warship Mary Rose
