For our distinguished NYC University Gallery client we are seeking a
preparatory. 

The successful candidate will oversee the installation and
deinstallation of all exhibitions and other productions in two mid-town
Manhattan gallery locations, hire freelance preparators for shows,
oversee regular maintenance of the galleries, assist with physical
plant issues and perform other related duties.
Responsibilities include advising the gallery staff on scheduling-
related issues; preparing the galleries for incoming exhibitions;
ordering supplies; receiving and condition reports for all incoming
work; billing, receipts and light financial records; other related tasks
as necessary.

The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years experience in a
similar position and full knowledge of registrarial and
installation requirements.  BA in art history or related required.
Full time position with flexible work hours; salary to 45K DOE
plus excellent benefits.
