Capital Campaign Associate - New York City Area
For our important museum client conveniently located half an hour from
Grand Central Station, we are currently seeking a Capital Campaign
Associate. This position reports to the Director of Development and is
responsible for implementing and managing the campaign fundraising plan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all
day-to-day campaign activities including staff/counsel and committee
meetings, campaign reporting, prospect lists, and donor cultivation
events. Other duties include but are not limited to: working with the
Director of Development to strategize approaches for donor solicitations
for the campaign; researching and identifying campaign funding
opportunities; writing proposals and funding letters; tracking funds
raised and creating and managing donor acknowledgment letters; and
managing matching gifts and other campaign fundraising programs. The
ideal applicant will have least 2 years substantial experience in
Development in an arts or cultural organization, with some experience
and knowledge of capital campaigns strongly preferred, and facility with
fundraising software, experience with Raisers Edge preferred. BA and
exceptional organizational and communications skills essential.
