I would like to contact the Helms Hall of Fame but I cannot find any
record of such.  AAM directory does not list it, Net searches come up
empty handed.  Other than it's name I have no information other than it
holds photographs relating to Barney Oldfield in it's archives.  I am
attempting to locate specific images appearing in "Barney Oldfield The
Life and Times of America's Legendary Speed King" by William Nolan.In his
book Mr. Nolan extends thanks to William Schroeder of the Helms Hall of
Fame for the majority of photos appearing in his book.  I have contacted
the publisher  and I was not able to obtain any information as to the
location of the Helms Hall of Fame nor Mr. Nolan.
I realize that this list is not research tool per se and I hope my inquiry
is not offensive to members with overflowing mail boxes.  None the less,
Should anyone have any information concerning this request please contact
me off list.
