I work in a county museum, with a staff of only two as of right now, so take my reply with a grain of salt, but we currently use pastperfect for our collections management. I am the only one doing any sort of data entry in our collection and frequently transport photos home for entry, or work on object/archival entries, as we have over 20 years of back log, so I use "AnyDesk" to remotely access PastPerfect to enter new items in our collection. It allows me to work from home on weekends when I don't feel like going in to work after having been there 5 days in a row already. It was a recommended software program from PastPerfect, so that's what we are currently using, but I know PP is working on coming up with a web-based interface soon.
