Hi Kari,

While I was in college I worked at the New York State Museum in Albany.
It is home to a Discovery Place, a completely hands-on learning center
where children can look at slides through microscopes, build a giant
mastodont skeleton puzzle and place their hands in "What is it?" boxes and
participate in many other kid-friendly activities. The Discovery Place
has become a favorite place for families in the Capital Region.

The contact there is Donna Ross and she can be reached at 518-486-1569.
She is very passionate about developing interesting and innovative
activities for children and I'm sure she could provide some help.
