AMERICAN SILVERSMITHS: Info wanted

I am conducting research about a small collection of silver spoons. I have
consulted Stephen Ensko's "American Silversmiths and their Marks IV" (1989)
and Robert Alan Green's "Marks of American Silversmiths" (1977). Neither
author documents the careers of "L. Amadon" or "Albert E. Whitney". It is
likely that these makers were active in the first half of the nineteenth
century in eastern Massachusetts.

Furthermore, these authorities give little information about:

Farrington & Hunnewell (c.1835-1860) Boston
James Geddy (Geddes) (1731-1807) of Williamsburg
Newell Harding of Boston
A. Sanborn, 1850, Lowell, MA
D. Smiley (who I have traced to Peterborough, NH)

I would be very interested to know if any you are aware of other examples of
these silversmiths' works and where I may find them. Finally, any
information about these silversmiths would be most gratefully received.

Please accept my thanks in advance.

Faithfully,
L.W.S. Petznick, Ph.D.
