             Internships at the Museum of the City of New York

Situated on Manhattan's Museum Mile, at Fifth Avenue and 104th Street, The
Museum of the City of New York is a non-profit, private educational
organization established in 1923 to collect, preserve and present original
cultural materials related to the history of New York City. 

Internships are currently available in the departments of Collections Access,
Collections Management, Costumes & Textiles, Decorative Arts, the Department
of Learning, and in Prints & Photographs. Interns are placed in a specific
area of interest that matches their academic background, professional skill,
and career goals; responsibilities can be designed to meet student needs.

The Internship program is "project-based"; it is an educational program
designed for students enrolled in high school or college graduate and
