Dear Colleagues!

Mikki Carpenter and Linda Colet are hosting EVA New York at the Museum of
Modern Art in conjunction with VASARI. Hope you can attend. See
registration details and conference information below:

ELECTRONIC IMAGING AND THE VISUAL ARTS
BEYOND THE DIGITAL ARCHIVE: THE PRACTICAL USE OF IMAGES
WEDNESDAY MAY 19TH, THURSDAY MAY 20TH, AND HALF-DAY FRIDAY MAY 21

REGISTRATION AND CONFERENCE DETAILS AT THIS WEBSITE:
http://www.vasari.co.uk/eva/newyork.htm

This is the one of the foremost conferences on digital imaging as it brings
together those working on national and continental digital initiatives from
academia, museums, libraries, research institutions, and commercial
entities. Wednesday, May 19th will consist of individual case studies of
digital projects that have been successfully implemented and have reached
audiences beyond their labs. Thursday, May 20 will present panels on the
future directions of digital imaging, moving digital images to the printed
page, and color management issues. The conference will conclude with a half
day on Friday, May 21st to focus on large scale digital initiatives and
standards both in the domestic and international arena.

Please register this week. It is also critical that you make hotel
