EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Calgary, Alberta and surrounding area for a "Fine Arts Installation 
Technician"


The fine arts installer will provide technical assistance during the 
installation of various art collections. Specific responsibilities include: 
artwork handling; artwork installation; artwork packing; crate and display 
case building; lighting and occasional deliveries.



QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have experience working in a museum or related 
field; expertise in the care and safe handling of works of art, including: 
artwork installation; carpentry skills; strong organizational skill and the 
ability to work within a team environment.
A university/college degree or a studio practice in the visual/theatre arts 
would be a strong asset.


This is a part-time position commencing August 1, 2005. Salary is 
commensurate with experience.
