National School Gardening Symposium
July 11 & 12, 2002
Sponsored by the Chicago Botanic Garden and the United States Botanic
Garden
Endorsed by the National Gardening Association

Join colleagues and experts in the field to discuss what works, what
doesn’t, and what’s new in school gardening.  This two-day conference
will convene botanic garden and museum educators, program evaluators,
administrators and teachers for a lively series of presentations and
workshops.  Find out about one of the best things in education—and
experience the Garden and Chicago during the height of summer!

Call for Papers
The National School Garden Symposium is issuing a call for papers on
school garden programs, interdisciplinary plant science curricula
projects, related program evaluation, and fundraising and
administration.

Deadline for submissions is January 4, 2002.
Presenters will be notified by February 22, 2002.
