    Deb Fuller expressed her concerns about proposed renovations at
Montpelier: "They plan to tear down the duPont additions that were added in
the early 1900s to return the mansion back to its original state when the
Madisons owned it." and asked whether the later additions should be removed.
Item number four in the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for
Rehabilitation state:

        "4. Most properties change over time; those changes that have
acquired historic significance in their own right shall be retained and
preserved."
