Summer Internships in the Office of the Curator, Supreme Court of the
United States

Collections Management
Two interns this summer will assist with a print and photograph collection
reorganization project (approximately 5,000 objects). This is a great
opportunity to:

Get “hands-on” experience with objects
Work with an automated collections management database
Assist with digitization of images
Learn and practice rehousing techniques

Interns may also assist with other collections projects; some image
research may be included. In addition, interns will give building tours
and/or 20-minute Courtroom lectures approximately two times per week.

Qualified candidates should be familiar with Collections Management
principles and practice. Experience with The Museum System (TMS) software
is a plus.

Visitor Services and Photography
Summer internships will also be available in the Visitor Services and
Photography departments. Call (202) 479-2940 for detailed information on
internship responsibilities.

unpaid basis. Paid internships are full-time for an appointment period of

for interns to obtain course credit.
