The site seems simple and loads pretty well.  Interactive sound will make it
more interesting.

You might be able to squeeze the images down a bit more to speed loading.  I
noticed the images are 50 to 80Kb, but ideally you would want them closer to
30-40 for slower machines.  Optimizing for the web in Photoshop 6 does a
fine job at that, and there are other image editors that will do similarly.

As for the sound files; I'll ask a friend who is working on putting out
streaming music from his server.  I'm aware that he has settled on
MediaJukebox as his editor of choice for converting his files to MP3.  He
tells me he has some 3000 songs taking up about 10 GB on his main drive, so
the files are rather small, as they have to be for streaming.

Apparently, MediaJukebox allows him to fully control the final size of the
MP3s without sacrificing sound output quality.  You can probably get hold of
