I read a report that the U.S.S. Alabama is listing to port in its morings
but otherwise appears to be o.k.

I too would like to comment to Unlisted that to state what other people on
this list believe to be common courtesy and facts is in no way a "diatribe".

In northern Lousiana where almost every hotel and motel room is filled with
people from south LA, the casinos, the sporting events, all kinds of
activities are giving free admission to people from areas affected.

In Dallas, the Tulane University football team is practicing at a high
school and staying in the Doubletree Inn.

All over Texas children of refugees are being enrolled in schools without
immunization records and transcripts.

Yes, the situation in Florida was bad. No question.

But the Flordia refugees which visited my northeast Texas community could
return after a week. No one told them to stay away for possibly months into
the future.
