GW's Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts Certificate Program is looking for part-time (extended weekends or evenings) instructors in the Washington DC Metro area to develop and teach courses in the following subject areas:

                *       Porcelain/Ceramics
                *       Textiles/Costumes/Quilts
                *       Pre-Columbian Art/Native American Art
                *       Folk Art
                *       African Art
                *       Asian Art/Orientalia
                *       Prints
                *       20th Century Art (painting, sculpture)
                *       Antique and Collectible Glass
                *       African-American Art & Collectibles
                *       Middle Eastern Art
                *       Contemporary Latin American Art 

Instructors are appointed to teach on a class-by-class basis only. Courses in this program are offered in a short-term format of three or five consecutive days (weekends) or evenings.
