DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Museum in New York City seeks a dynamic, ambitious director of development
for an institution whose purpose is to preserve, enrich and interpret
Jewish life and culture as it is reflected in art, architecture,
anthropology, history, literature and music.
The successful candidate will:

· Plan, manage and implement fund-raising strategy to increase short
and long-term income;

· Expand income and support from individuals, corporations,
foundations government and community sources;

· Monitor and evaluate fundraising programs, accurate reporting,
analysis and integration of data with Deputy Director and regular reporting
to Board of Trustees;

We are looking for a seasoned professional with seven or more years of
development experience, including staff management, team leadership, and
budget oversight. A bachelor’s degree is required though an advanced degree
in business, or museum management/studies.
