Good morning list!

I am creating new attached labels for ethnohistoric artifacts from Australia. Many of these objects are wooden and were originally labeled using masking tape(!) and pen. I’d like to remove the masking tape labels, but want to find a method that won’t damage the artifacts. What methods could I use to completely remove the masking tape and any residue without damaging the wood?

Thank you!
