Years ago (early 1980s) I curated a collection of historic asbestos samples
which had been accumulated by the American inventor Thomas Edison at his
laboratory in West Orange, New Jersey. The samples were in sealed bottles
and labled. We purchased a modern hazardous chemicals cabinet and stored the
collection under lock and key.
