If you are looking for a program you can use to import records into PastPerfect, you can use MS excel spreadsheet.  You just have to make sure the titles or headings in your spreadsheet will match up with PastPerfects.  You can check their website and access an online version of the manuals for more details on how to do this.   Once you have PastPerfect up and running you can still import (and export for that matter) from MS Excel.  There are other database system in which data can be transferred.
