The AAMD (Assn. of Art Museum Directors) publishes a very comprehensive
analysis of salaries each year, exclusively for its membership.  For

Some state arts associations also publish salary surveys (one very
comprehensive one is published by the California Association of Museums).  You
can e-mail Terri Knoll at CAM for information on purchasing a copy
