I work in a small museum in a small town (2,500). We have a number of
artists and crafts people in our community. We are trying to establish a
policy that would deal with the requests we get to show and sell their
work - everything from when they drop their art off, who sets it up, who
is responsible for it, insurance, when they pick it up, what happens
when they don't pick it up (yes this really happens), fees charged
(straight room rental or sales commission), etc.

Are there any other museums or galleries (not commercial) that get
requests like this?

What are your policies?

If this has been covered before then I apologise. I found a few messages
in the archives under "Sales During Exhibits".

Thanks in advance
