>>>>>>>>>>> Attention Educators <<<<<<<<<<

Take a moment to explore the Minneapolis Institute of Art's new
on-line prototype of its World Mythology in Art curriculum and
slide set. This project brings together 24 works of art inspired by
mythology around the world. Teachers can now use this area to
preview, train with and review all the materials contained in the
"traditional" slide set which can be borrowed from the Institute's
Curriculum Materials office.

The on-line version's highly interactive, cross referenced format
and rich images makes it possible for teachers to address a wide
range of study areas, including language arts, humanities, art,
social and cultural studies, and world religions. The Mythological
Comparison section allows teachers to explore the various
relationships among the myths and images. Over 24 high quality
images, 60 minutes of downloadable audio storytelling and a
dowloadable slide set and"Quickslide" player now available 24 hours
a day at http://www.mtn.org/MIA/mythology

Have fun being creative with these materials!

Since this is a prototype, repurposing project we are very
interested in your comments on this project as well as your ideas
for future on-line curriculum . Please use the on-line comment
book or email your feedback to [log in to unmask]
