Dr. Oscar White Muscarella will lead a special SAFE Tour and lecture  
at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He will speak about some of the  
most talked about artifacts of the museum and the unexpected ways  
objects were acquired in the Greek & Roman, Ancient Near Eastern and  
other collections. A specialist in the art and archaeology of the  
ancient Near East, he has been on staff of the Metropolitan Museum of  
Art since 1964. He is also the author of "The Lie Became Great: The  
Forgery of Near Eastern Cultures."

Friday May 5, 2006 at 5:30 pm at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000  
Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street.

Fee: $30/person (20% discount for SAFE members) or $10/student with  
valid ID, PLUS group admission*. There are only a few spaces left. To

Group admission to the Metropolitan Museum of Art:
$12 (adult) $7 (senior), $6 (student), $2 (NY City student). These  
fees are charged by the museum to all tour attendees, including  
members of the museum and the press. SAFE Tour coordinator will hand  
out admission buttons and collect these fees before the start of the  
tour.
