Hi, Tim - When I was working for the York County Culture and Heritage
Commission in South Carolina, we used two conservators - Patricia Ewer
in Asheville, formerly of Biltmore Estate and now in private practice,
(828) 253-2454; and Lynn Lancaster Gorges in New Bern,
[log in to unmask] The work we had done was fairly simple, but both did
it well and seemed both knowledgeable and respectful.

Subject: textile conservators

Hello All,

Cape Fear Museum wants to locate a textile conservator in private
practice
in the VA, NC, SC, GA region for future work. Can anyone recommend
someone
that does solid, professional work?

Thanks,

Tim
