   There are three Bird Hotline listservs, BIRDEAST, BIRDCNTR(? I
think that is the way it is listed, but am not sure), and BIRDWEST.
These are strictly for posts of rarebird hotlines from around
the country that are online (i.e., it does not have every hotline).
They don't want posts from people discussing birds.  They have
another listserv, BIRDCHAT, for discussions.  All of these were
available at this address:

However, I recently saw a post saying that they have been
moved to a new listserv address.  It supposedly is

I subscribed to BIRDEAST at the former address (old?) by
sending the message SUBSCRIBE BIRDEAST myname.
 
  Try the new address and if that does not wrok, then try the
original address.
