The SPNHC (Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections) will
have their annual meeting in San Francisco in June, I haven't seen the
schedule, but they often have good workshops. They have a web page, you
might check that.

Subject: Natural History Courses

Hi Everyone,

Two of my coworkers were planning on taking the Natural History Core
Curriculum at the Campbell Center this spring, but we *just* found out that
it's been cancelled. Does anyone know about any other courses available in
the US or Canada to teach museum professionals about the care
and restoration of Natural History Collections (wet specimens, skeletal
material, taxidermy, etc)? Also, if any of you are experts in atural History
Collections Care and could teach us/consult/etc., we'd love to get in touch
with you.

Thanks,

Susan Mueller
