Dear Ginger,

We just opened a new exhibition that shows woven textiles from different
cultures represented in our collections. I curated the ancient Peruvian
textiles; other cultures represented are the Navajo, Anasazi, Polynesia,
Guatemala, and India. Is there a specific culture you are interested in knowing
about? I didn't find any websites that were useful to me, but I can send you a
bibliography of the books I used for my research (or refer you to some of the
professionals we consulted). If you have a specific question about any of these
cultures, (or if you would like to know about our exhibit) I'd be more than
willing to talk to you, or refer you to someone who may be able to help if I
can't. Please email me off-list at [log in to unmask]

Sincerely,

Amy Anderson

> I am looking for info pertaining to looms and other weaving implements. Information on dyes and other materials used would also be helpful. If anyone knows of an informative website it would be much appreciated! Any other advice is also welcome! Thanks in advance to those who take the time and effort to help me out! This info. will be used in an upcoming exhibit we are working on.
