Sales Associate, Rare Books, NYC
For our world-renowned New York City rare bookstore client we are seeking a
Sales Associate.  The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of
sales, including telephone, mail order, retail and art fair sales.  Duties
include heavy telephone and in-person client interaction and relations;
participation at art fairs and antique shows nationwide; data entry,
telephones, correspondence and other general administrative functions; other
duties as required.  The ideal applicant will posses excellent
communications, organizational and computer skills.  A widely-read and
well-rounded liberal arts background with a BA in English or other
literature-related field is essential.  Previous rare book experience
preferred; familiarity with catalogue requirements a strong plus.  A great
chance to work in an environment that values learning and seeks to combine
intellect with business.  Salary 45K plus benefits.  Please send resume,
