We are in the final phases of revising the print materials for our distance
education course 'Introduction to Museum Studies' (almost 1200 pages of text and
readings!). One of the pieces of information that we're still missing at this late
date is a sample exhibitions policy that could be incorporated as a model in our
unit on Exhibition Principles and Policy. We are removing one that is outdated and
hoping to locate a replacement -by Thursday- that addresses issues of team
approaches, community involvement, and multi-cultural perspectives and
representation.
 
If your institution has a policy statement that addresses these issues, and if it
would be prepared to have it reproduced as part of our course materials, I would
appreciate it if you send along a copy either by email, or by fax to 604-721-8462.
